A small discovery
Last summer, a team of archaeologists were working in a river valley when they found a small bronze figure of a horse under the floor of an old house. The figure is only twelve centimetres high, but its details are very clear: the mane, the saddle and even the bridle can be seen. The experts compared the metal and the style of decoration with objects from other sites. They could not find the name of the maker, but they are sure of one thing.
